In Wonju City, approximately fifty miles east of Seoul, Korea, an unlucky Youtuber got more than he bargained for when he entered a vacant property.

On December 15th at approximately 3:00 am, two individuals entered an abandoned house. The two were searching for content to use for the Youtuber’s site: a channel devoted to haunted houses and the paranormal. However, the Youtuber called the police when he made a grisly discovery.

Inside the abandoned house, the Youtuber discovered a dead body.

The body, believed to be a man between the ages of 40 and 60, was discolored due to severe decomposition. Police reportedly sent a forensic team to block off the scene for investigation, Top Star News reported.

The abandoned house had been empty for years, the YouTuber told police. “The authorities believe there is no criminal suspicion, such as murder. However, the police planned to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to identify the body and cause of death.”

However, that did not stop the story before it went viral.  The internet sympathized with the Youtuber’s discovery. “It must have been really lonely for the man when he died,” “The YouTuber must have been so surprised,” “I don’t think the YouTuber can sleep for days,” and “The YouTuber must have been shaken.”

Despite the sad circumstances surrounding the Youtuber’s find, it is not an isolated incident.  In early February of this year, another YouTuber found another dead body in different abandoned house in Jeungpyeong-eup, Jeungpyeong-gun.  Prior to that in December 2019, a different Youtuber discovered a body inside an empty office building in Ulsan
