In its latest update, the developers of the Steam Access game Phasmophobia have added some inspired, seasonal touches to the gameplay. The new patch includes a remap of the Maple campsite. The dark browns and almost-blacks of the night woods are now buried beneath a blanket of frozen-over snow. The sounds have been altered and now include frigid, crunchy footsteps; a complement to the campsite’s new wintry surroundings.
However, the most anticipated change for players in this update is the sound of sleigh bells. The newest resident of the Phasmophobia universe is a “mysterious, elusive ghost.” Made Conspicuous by his rotting red suit, white beard, and a candy cane.
Yes, Santa Claus has come to Maple Lodge.
This was by far the best part of the update for me, being chased by Santa 😂#horrorstreamer #gravekeeperfam #Phasmophobia pic.twitter.com/OevWxyqqsl

Phasmophobia is a four player co-op psychological horror game with VR support. Team up with other players as paranormal investigators and use the tools of their trade (EMF Readers, Motion Sensors, UV Flashlights, etc) to prove the existence of ghosts.
Phasmophobia is now available on Steam Early Access for $13.99. █
