Homes Under The Hammer host Martin Roberts says his old Welsh farm house is haunted by a ghost.
Roberts, who has been the star of the BBC home renovation series since it first aired “loves” that his house is supposedly haunted by a spirit toting a shotgun as well as other spirits.
He says, “I love my haunted house and now I know the ghosts’ names. I’m not the landlord – I’m the custodian! While renovating, I was talking to the house, saying I was here to help it.”
The property expert explains that he enlisted the help of a historical paranormal investigator, who claimed that two children as well as a woman and a man holding a shotgun were haunting the house.
Roberts continues, “A historical investigator learned there was a woman, a little boy and girl, and a man sat in the living room with a shotgun. During one of the things they did I definitely heard the girl – Bryony – say ‘Martin’.”
The BBC Host says how a paranormal “pathway” was created in case the ghosts wanted to leave, but they have decided to stay. The TV host reveals each ghost has its own respective stockings and presents at Christmas time.
“I’m religious, so I believe in the afterlife. They haven’t gone to heaven or hell so with the help of a paranormal expert, a pathway was opened for them to leave but they decided to stay. I put out stockings and Christmas presents – toys, a beer, and slippers.” █
