The Walking Dead Artist New Poster Out

Artist Kirk Manley has created an exclusive exhibition poster for the event.

AMC and the Museum of the Moving Image (MoMI) in New York City announce The Walking Dead exhibit Living with the Walking DeadThe exhibit takes an in-depth look into the universe of The Walking Dead created by Robert Kirkman.

The exhibit will run from June 25, 2022, to January 1, 2023 with ticket sales open now. Tickets range from $14–$20 (free or discounted for MoMI members). Each ticket includes timed-entry admission to the special exhibition, plus access to all Museum galleries.

Carl Goodman, MoMI Executive Director is thrilled to host the event.

It’s wonderful to be once again partnering with AMC Networks, this time to present an exhibition devoted to the long-running original series The Walking Dead. More than just a television show, it is a cultural phenomenon that is adored by legions of fans, who celebrate the innovative, engaging, and immersive world that its makers have built, and for its diverse cast of characters. The exhibition will bleed outward from our temporary exhibitions gallery and into our theaters, classrooms, and other public spaces.

The exhibit will feature many points of interest, including costumes, concept art, scripts, storyboards, and a wealth of prosthetic makeup used to realize effects artist guru and producer Greg Nicotero’s singular vision of the undead.

The Walking Dead is one of the most watched shows in cable TV history. Before the last half of the final season, TWDU artist Kirk Manley has created a limited time poster for the event. Manley will attend the opening day event and sign posters available for purchase in the MoMI shop.
